Nature Lovers (Lake Moultrie)

Lake kayaking at its finest for family outings, wildlife viewing and fun in the sun. This 2-hour tour paddles along shaded canals where wading birds linger to open bays filled with beautiful blooms. Dennis Pasture offers acres of fragrant water lilies, Lotus flowers and miles of trails through hardwoods and Bald Cypress. See Osprey, Bald Eagles, Wood Storks, White- tailed Deer and more. The 3-hour tour paddles through similar area as the 2-hour tour above plus an island stop to get out, stretch and dip your toes in the cool water.  See Bald Eagles, Wood Storks, White Tail Deer, turtles, and river otters. Located 10 minutes from Moncks Corner and 30 minutes from Goose Creek on the northeastern side of Lake Moultrie. Wadboo Creek (River Tours)

Exciting history and striking views make for ideal kayaking along the Cooper River.  Paddle the area where “The Swamp Fox,” General Francis Marion, beat back a British attack during the Revolutionary War.  Cool down on the Upper Wadboo Creek tour where Cypress and Tupelo trees provide deep shade. See 30’ tall limestone bluffs, Great Blue Herons and wild hogs. The Twice the Fun tour includes the upper and lower creek where we paddle among tall marsh grass and abandoned rice fields. Beautiful flowers, wading birds, turtles, Osprey and Bald Eagles are found on both sides of the creek. The full day tour explores both creek sides and the interior of the rice fields.  Located a mile from Moncks Corner and a short drive from Mt. Pleasant, Goose Creek and Summerville. Sparkleberry Swamp (Lake Marion)

If you’re really looking for an adventure and want to get into the wild, Sparkleberry is the place to kayak. Launching from Sparkleberry Landing on the western end of Lake Marion  paddle through one of the most diverse and beautiful areas we offer. Brillant green canopies, moss-draped Cypress trees, Osprey and Great Blue Heron are typically viewed with occasional sitings of the American Alligator, Barred Owls and otters. The full day tour explores hidden creeks and oxbow lakes. It’s an amazing kayaking  and wildlife viewing experience.  Minimum party of 4. Please call if you have less than 4 in your party. We can combine your party with others who may be waiting to do this trip.
